Senior Medical Science Liaison:
Primary Responsibilities: This position is responsible for executing the Medical Affairs strategy, enabling clinical practice transformation, fostering scientific exchange, and executing educational initiatives.
Drive Clinical Practice Transformation in IntelliSep Customer Accounts
• Observe and understand each target hospital’s existing workflows, practices, infrastructure, and opportunities to enhance patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive training programs and develop materials to equip healthcare professionals (HCPs) (e.g. physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and hospital leaders) with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively leverage IntelliSep through both on-site and virtual engagement.
• Support the development and continued adherence of protocolized ordering compliance and clinical adoption through sharing customer specific clinical data related to IntelliSep and clinical workflows in the customer’s facility. This will be accomplished by successfully leveraging prepared materials and talk tracks to disseminate education and outcomes to frontline clinical teams.
• Build clinical credibility with your hospital partners
Engage with Broader Clinical and Medical Stakeholder Community
• Support pre-sales discussions with clinical and medical expertise, establish clinical credibility and align IntelliSep’s value with hospital priorities.
• Lead scientific exchange discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), including answering unsolicited medical inquiries about Cytovale’s products.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with HCPs, thought leaders, medical groups, academic institutions, and national/regional professional societies.
• Support KOL engagement through advisory boards, educational symposia, investigator meetings and sponsored promotional programs.
• Attend national and regional medical meetings and symposia as a representative of Cytovale, engaging in discussions and summarizing findings from scientific sessions and poster presentations.
• Monitor and report competitive intelligence and scientific trends.
Serve as an Internal Clinical and Medical Subject Matter Expert
• Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Product Development, Operations, etc.) to share HCP feedback and areas of ambiguity, and support continuous improvement (products, process and people).
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Commercial teams in the development of internal educational material, messaging activities, and external medical/scientific communications – especially through sharing the voice of the frontline clinicians with internal teams.
• Identify clinical evidence gaps based on field experience and collaborate with internal teams to generate the necessary evidence to support the clinical and economic value of Cytovale’s products.

• Represent Cytovale with the utmost scientific and medical integrity, sharing the Company’s perspective on sepsis with factual accuracy and balanced perspective
• Engage and operate with superior ethics according to company policies and appropriate guidelines (e.g., regulatory, legal, AdvaMed, etc.).
• Travel as required to visit customers, attend events, conduct training, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree and preferably an RN/NP/PA/PharmD. Other advanced degrees within the healthcare professions will also be considered.
• Minimum 15+ years of combined clinical experience in patient-facing settings such as hospital, urgent care, emergency room AND MSL experience within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostic/medical device industries - diagnostic/medical device industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record of effective scientific communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience providing education, training, and collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ability to digest and interpret clinical data and medical literature
• Ability to travel up to 70%
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and compliant interactions with HCPs
• Strong personal integrity, professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication; public speaking skills
• Possess a strong drive and a proactive mindset, ensuring projects are delivered with excellence and within established timelines.
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects across multiple clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
